Crypto Commercials At Super Bowl 2022
The Super Bowl is the annual playoff championship game of the National Football League (NFL). It has served as the final game of every NFL season since 1966, replacing the NFL Championship Game. Beginning in 2022, the game is played on the second Sunday in February.
This year, brands had to fork out more than US$6.5 million for a single 30-second slot.
Coinbase’s 60-second slot consisted of just a QR code bouncing around on screen. It generated 20 million hits to its landing page in a single minute!

I have no interest in basketball so I had no idea who were the actors in the Crypto.com ad were, nor the context of their dialog. shrugs
When I learnt about how expensive Super Bowl ads cost, and how many people were expected to view them, I was anticipating a pop in the price of the Crypto.com CRO coin. I even started a trading bot on KuCoin for the CRO/USDT pair. Unfortunately, there seemed to be no impact at all to the price trend of CRO during and after the event.
